Overview
The Scranton School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children is a non-profit tuition-free school with high academic expectations. Founded in 1880, SSDHHC continues its tradition of excellence by providing quality educational services and a complete extracurricular program to deaf and hard-of-hearing children. SSDHHC maintains an all inclusive communication/language environment with an emphasis on fluency in English and American Sign Language. SSDHHC is a program of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf - Pittsburgh.
