Winter & Spring American Sign Language Classes

The Scranton School for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Children is happy to continue offering American Sign Language courses at our new campus in South Abington Township, with the addition of a new location in Scranton at the Green Ridge Assembly of God, 825 Green Ridge Street. Participants will develop basic finger-spelling, vocabulary and grammar skills, and both ASL 1 and ASL 2 will be offered.
Winter Community ASL Course
6-Week Course: ASL 1 & ASL 2
Location: Green Ridge Assembly of God
Dates: Every Tuesday, January 31st – March 6th
Time: 7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M., with 30 minutes of practice time until 9:00 P.M.
6-Week Course: ASL 1 & ASL 2
Location: School’s Campus, 537 Venard Road, South Abington Township
Dates: Every Thursday, February 2nd -March 8th
Time: 7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M., with 30 minutes of practice time until 9:00 P.M.
Spring Community ASL Course
6-Week Course: ASL 1 & ASL 2
Location: Green Ridge Assembly of God
Dates: Every Tuesday, April 24th- May 29th
Time: 7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M., with 30 minutes of practice time until 9:00 P.M.

Parent Classes
Parents of enrolled students and families in our Choices for Children program will have the opportunity to take courses, free of charge on Fridays from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
